We had the Muchenje's over for lunch and their third missionary lesson. We taught them the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Fortunate mentioned she's planning on being baptized into our church. Bruce also drove them by the temple and took their family photo. We hope someday this will be a forever family sealed for eternity in the temple. Cephas, is a painter on the temple site. He realizes he's involved in a special work. After giving the painter's group a personal tour of the temple; Cephas approached Bruce about coming to visit us with his wife. We offered to come where they stay a few weeks ago and taught them the Restoration. Last week, they attended church in East View and we taught them the Plan of Salvation. They are a golden family and have listened to and accepted all we have taught them. We were so happy to meet their 3 children and have them to lunch to celebrate Fortunate's 31st birthday, which was on July 6th. I gave her a pair of earrings I had bought in America; she was delighted to wear them. They texted us, "Thank you so much for everything! We are so grateful to have both of you in our family as our parents. It was a weekend to remember. God bless you!" Cephas has texted me calling me "mom and mother". It's very heartwarming!
